Sammy Sugiura is an experienced trial attorney who represents local and international unions in a variety of labor and employment law matters, including claims of retaliation, discrimination, harassment, and violations of wage-and-hour laws.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Sugiura worked for regional law firms located in Pennsylvania. Mr. Sugiura has litigated disputes throughout the country, and has extensive experience in the courtroom, having taken over 100 matters to trial while amassing a nearly 90% success rate. Mr. Sugiura has also handled appellate matters, including appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Sugiura's prior experience includes representing global corporations, regional businesses, and individuals, which provides him with unique insight when helping people dealing with workplace-related issues, including violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, National Labor Relations Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act, whistleblower laws, and compliance with leave-related laws (including the ADA and FMLA).

Mr. Sugiura earned his J.D. from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. During law school, Mr. Sugiura clerked for the Hon. Eugene Edward J. Maier and worked full-time for the Defender Association of Philadelphia while graduating in three years.
