About

Nadia Bayado represents employees and labor unions in a range of employment and constitutional matters. Her practice primarily focuses on First Amendment and Fair Labor Standards Act violations.

Prior to joining Mooney, Green, Saindon, Murphy & Welch, P.C., Ms. Bayado served as a Civil Rights Attorney at the Council on American-Islamic Relations Legal Defense Fund in Washington, D.C., where she litigated high-impact federal civil rights cases involving First Amendment, employment discrimination, and religious freedom claims. While there, Ms. Bayado represented eight plaintiffs in a five-day federal jury trial in the Eastern District of Missouri against nineteen defendants, resulting in a verdict for the plaintiffs and an award of $667,000 in damages.

Ms. Bayado earned her LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School in 2023, with a concentration in International Human Rights Law.  She received her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2022, where she earned honors including the Order of Solicitors for Excellence and Honor in Legal Advocacy Skills and the Pro Bono and Public Service Award.  Ms. Bayado earned her B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma in 2020.
